Seasonal calendar


Reading planting/harvesting/pruning horticultural/gardening/permaculture design books from different hemispheres can be confusing due to the six month offset

The table below has been designed to facilitate interpretation of months and seasons for each hemisphere
  • By viewing the month you can see which season that month is in each hemisphere
  • By viewing the season for a particular hemisphere you can find the corresponding season in the opposite hemisphere
  • Dates for Equinox's and solstices are also shown as are the new MET office dates for the start of the seasons
